About:
I was born in Austin, Texas, and raised right here in Pflugerville. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Concordia University with a Master's Degree in Education, and am currently pursuing licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist with Lamar University. I worked for several years as a middle school teacher and, more recently, as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
I believe in meeting families where they are and providing a listening ear to both teens and parents as they navigate the struggles of building, maintaining, and strengthening family bonds.
I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, helping them build on their strengths while addressing challenges with emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationships, and self-advocacy. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, I also have extensive experience working with foster, adoptive, and kinship families impacted by trauma.
I love caring for all my animals and plants, including two dogs, one cat, one bearded dragon, and two guinea pigs. I also love video games, and I finally got the Switch 2. I'm the proud owner of a five-star island on Animal Crossing.
